A 1 m wide slot trench was excavated in 1996 by the Konya Basin Palaeoenvironments Project (KOPAL). The trench originated from the North Area running down slope to the site perimeter fence to the north. The aim was to assess post-occupation site-formation processes
History: Backfilled and reinstated to original form in 1996.
