Pillar on wall 2106 recognized as such by the timber impression on the wall, by the layers of wall plaster going around it, and by the wood remains on the bottom. The post is relatively narrow. We can say that because the post hole through 2174 floor is not very wide.
2013: *** A thin light grey friable plaster layer was removed from the posthole cut after the bucranium adjacent was lifted.This plaster was patchy and highly eroded due to long term exposure. |
