Excavated in 2008, From archive 2008:
The oven (F2639), with its mouth to the south appeared to be inserted into a space delineated by walls F.5002, F.2644 and F.2625, respectively at the west, north and east. This upper oven reused the north and western walls of the earlier oven F.5000. Six oven floor surfaces were excavated from within the oven walls suggesting some degree of longevity within its use. Externally several surfaces may have been associated with this use sequence (16514), (16515), (16518), (16537), (16545), (16546) and (16548). |
