Small F.I. revealed in southern limit of excavation. Lying in a flat bottomed cut it consists of - 1) rubefied base 3-4mm thick 2) pale brown sandy silt which is the makeup for 3 - 22 to 25mm thick. 3) Rubefied base 4-5mm thick 4) mixed light grey silt fill 5cm thick.
This appears to be a well constructed relatively long lived F.I. although it is smaller than the other examples in the vicinity. It is later than F.439 but its relationship with F.435 is unclear although it is probably contemporary or later than it.
