Fire instalation on southern side of space 171 / building 18 [Mellaart level X building 8]. Damaged in 1960's and by cut [4538] for later F.I. 473.
Constructed in shallow cut [4446] it was made of a clean sandy silt (4445). Two phases of highly heat affected base (4543) and (4544). Probably associated with rake-out/trample (4539) and (4540).
Probably a substantial squareish domed oven. |
