| This small bench located against the western wall (internal wall) of space 336 appears to have later in the building's life been screened off and covered by F6050. One of the large structural timbers for this (17540) actually truncates the eastern end of the platform. The bench being close to the seat of the fire and with the burning timber within it had suffered - the surface is powdery and red with very remnant survival of marl plaster. |
