Feature is a burial of a neonate lcoated in NW corner of NE platform F 3442, and a burial of another neonate diretcly to the E is cut into the same platform make-up layer. The body appears to be female, approximately 38 weeks old, in the flexed position with legs bent at the waist and extended upward toward the skull, facing W. The burial is cut itno a makeup layer on the N edge of the platform, as opposed to the plaster floor with appears to have been eroded or dug out from the N edge before the burial cut was made ( as evidenced by the fact that the plaster cap over the burial cut abuts the cut and the make up and not remnants of plaster floor). The fill for the burial feature is fine, gray, sterile clay apart from one shell and animal bone not associated directly with the body. The burial is truncated by Mellaart at NW edge so cut and fill are not complete but the body is undisturbed.
