Discussion: BuU1al matU1x was dry and u1ty of sU1ght compacW1on-but loose compared to surrounT1ng su1ls. There were fewG1ncluu1ons y1th only a U1ttle aU1mal bone and some U1tU1cs. X T1nds of nš1ls were recorded throughout the buU1al as well as traces of wood found above the lumbar vertebrae. A lense of wood about 6cmG1n length was observedG1n the southern u1de wall also at the same locaW1on as the lumbar. KrotoY1na were observed at the left shoulder and at the left foot. Extenu1ve roots were observed throughout the ret1on of the legs and could account for tht1r poor preservaW1on
Individual appears rather robust and displays a pathological condition of the left clavicle and around the mandible

Body: Bodyis extended and supine - oriented east - west with the skull to the west
Head: Head is slightly to the left side of the individual - looking sligtly north
Right Arm: R. Arm lies along side of body and is bent slightly at the elbow so that the hand lies across the right ilium and the distal phalangers extend over the iliupic ramus
Left Arm: It extends straight along the body at a very slight angle away from the body - hand is also extended with the L. 1st. MC on the others
Right Leg: Both legs are straight and angle in towards each other slightly - both feet extend laterally and are collapsed on themselves

Surface Modifications: Clear grave pit outline of looser soil - remnants of wood and nails were found indicating traces of a coffin. Also root and animal disturbance
