Discussion: Probably a burnt layer of occupational debris above floor just to south of F1423.
From the priority tour the specialsts noted that the bone and few pot sherds were typical of building fill. There was a large quantity of plant remains that were not typical of species introduced through animal dung. Also present was dock leaf in addition to a quantity of emmer.
