Discussion: this unit consists of a discrete concentration of charred plant remains-wheat grains (especially einkorn), barley grain and some small clumps of fused cruciferae seeds (See 10308 also). Though the density of grains in this unit was high, it was not a 'pure seed cache' in the sense that it was mixed with a small amount of soil. Nevertheless, the concentration clearly 'stood out' from the surrounding building fill (10304).
