Discussion: the position of this Neolithic neonate/infant was interesting because the lower body was turned to the right side while the upper body and head were turned to the left. The individual was on its back. SK 10391 was associated with SK 10361 and SK 10370; all three neonates/infants were buried in the same SW corner of space 258. The burial cut and fill appeared to be the same for all three individuals. The lower leg bones (tibia and fibula) of SK10361 were under the feet of SK 10391 which suggests SK10391 was buried after 10361. It is also possible that these feet bones belong to SK10341because these skeleton are of similar age. Additional lab work should help clarifying this. Even so, SK10361 was disturbed in the area of its body where SK10391 is located and then support a sequence of burial events where SK 10391 is buried after SK 10361. SK 10370 was also associated with these burials but does not appear to have been disturbed. SK 10370 was on top of SK 10391. It may have been buried last relative to SK 10341 and SK 10391. It is also possible that the burial of SK 10370 disturbed (rather than the burial SK 10391. This may also account for displaced left arm of SK 10391.
