Unit 10415
Category: layer dug in 2004
Area: South
Interpretive Categories: pit fill
Data Category Information: Location: cut; Description: pit; Deposition: homogeneous
Discussion: upper fill of feature 1506, very loose and very disturbed by animal burrows. Appears clearly within cut [10413] , however animals have undercut some edges causing boundary between this deposit and one beneath harder to see. Basal bondary appears to be a firmer interface, however material similar to that taken out, may just be a lens?
Backfill of pit, material probably came from hole orriginally, differencws between (10418) + (10415) minimal/ non existent, probably all one backfilling event.
Recognition: within cut [10413], colour/texture difference
Definition: within cut
Execution: trowel, brush
Condition: dry
Consistency: loose
Colour: mid to dark grey brown
Texture: silty loam
Bedding: massive
Inclusions: bone, stone, pot, obsidian, mud brick frags, charcoal flecks, plaster frags
Post-depositional Features: root and animal disturbance
