Discussion: The unit was made up of mud bricks and mortar with some plaster still entacted. The wall was taken down to an arbitrary level in order to be even with the wall touching it to the south. Bone obsidian ceramic and shell were recovered from the unit. There was also some natural rock and charcoal found in the unit.

Possibly a midden retaining wall for Sp559 (equates with E.IX.25) - noted by James and Alex 2017.

Consistency: Loose to firm. The eroded soil was very loose 

Colour: Grey mudbricks and darker grey mortar 

Texture: silty clay

Inclusions: 2% charcoal and medium bone pieces 

Post-depositional Features: disturbances from roots 

Basal Boundary: clear wavy anthropic boundary
