Discussion: Remnants of oven floor, similar to a sequenec that can be seen as lying below. Northern part of floor removed in 2004 or by greek team. The mortar make up appears to have deliberately included small pebbles perhaps for their heat retention qualities. These mainly in the lower bedding of the plaster as the upper surface is smooth
