Discussion: Burial partially exposed by archaeologist who didn't see grave cut. Consequently, the lower limbs were removed prematurely. Marin (MAP) continued the exposure of the grave until she became sick. Originally, I (MAP) did not see a clear burial cut- as the other archaeologists in the unit didn't either. However, there was a break in the wall there. As the rooms surrounding the grave were excavated the cut became more clear. Since I was sick Scott and Lori stepped in to finish it for me. Grave was near the surface and full of roots that would account for its extremely poor condition. A coffin nail was found in the fill as well as faunal bone, obsidian and a pot sherd. After excavation was complete 2 beads were discovered in the screen from the bottom of the fill.
