Discussion: It is an ashy layer situated in NE corner of the extension a round the kiln (unit 10914) partly an its E and S sides. It might have been asociated whit this kiln but was certainly asociated witch a Roman burnt layer visible in the sections of the main trench (in W one and partly in N&S) and excovated in the main trench.
The basal boundary is montly constructed by mudbrick wals which makes it prominent. It is also in regular ad the lowest ranges from 1017,58 to 1017,66.

Colour: light grey, dark brown 

Texture: silty sild
