Category: layer dug in 2004
Area: TP
Interpretive Categories: grave marker
Data Category Information: In Situ: in situ; Location: feature; Material: brick
Dimensions: 0.72 x 0.42 x 0,21
Discussion: It is a marker of a burial in N part of an extension. It consisted of 3 mudbricks placed diagonally one on another in orientation EW - the other part of this burial was excavated in season 2002. The bricks had .........0,34x0,34x0,08 ( the one on the E), 0,32x0,34x0,08 (the one in the middle) and 0,34x0,14x0,08 (the one on the W). The western brick was halfly damaged but the reason is unknown.
Interestingly the marker was placed halfly (in its S part) on the grave cut (........in other burials of the same type where it was standing next to the cut) and halfly (in its N part) on the layer of burnt.
The other part of this grave marker was excavated in season 2002 within feature 955 as unit 6905.
