Discussion: It is a small layer of burnt which is a fragment of a big Roman burnt layer visible in W section of the main trench and in W parts of N and S sections and excavated previously within the main trench.
There was a grave mudbrick marker (3 diagonally placed mudbricks) - unit 10945 placed partly over the burnt layer 10947 and partly over the burial pit (infill 10948, cut 10950).
