Unit 11008
Category: layer dug in 2004
Area: North
Interpretive Categories: midden,Pit fill
Data Category Information: Location: cut; Description: pit; Deposition: heterogeneous
Discussion: The eastern portion of this unit's fill began to be excavated as unit 11006, whereas the western portion, harder to define, initially, began to be excavated as unit 11005 (combined pit fill material and surrounding material). This unit, now fairly well defined, we began to excavate in the northern half, in order to get a rough profile of the dimensions and composition of the pit fill.
