Category: Layer dug in 2005
Area: TP
Interpretive Categories: burial infill
Data Category Information: Location: cut; Description: burial; Deposition: heterogeneous
Dimensions: 2.16 x 0.80 x 0,35
Discussion: This is an infill of a pit in N part of an extension. There have already been 2 layers of a ninfill if this pst (units7825 and 11722) but the pit was larger then.
Unit 11722 was finished by the appearance ofa neolithic floor in N part of inbased boundary and then the pit continued judt in its S part and was excavated there as unit 11588.
In basal boundary of uniy 11588 a rubble was visible but in its S edge (which was forming a kind of a niche below e.g. Wall 10985) it was friable and no rubble was present. Also E part was forming a niche.
The pit destroyed the burials in infill of space 248.
There were also some fragments of matting noticed in the centre of the unit, however they were very small, seemed volled and a sample has not been taken.
Two fragments of skull(s) recorded in this unit as x1 and x2 might have been related to skulls from unit 10986.
