Unit 11674

Category: Layer    dug in 2005

Area: South

Interpretive Categories: wall plaster

Data Category Information: In Situ: in situ; Location: wall/blocking; Material: plaster; Deposition: homogeneous

Dimensions: 2mm thick

Discussion: this foundation wall was built reusing mudbricks evident as the plaster was on the inner faces of the wall construction. So this was not a delibeartely plastered surface facing into the room but a plaster face that was confined to one mudbrick from an earlier use.
