Unit 11901
Category: Layer dug in 2005
Area: North
Interpretive Categories: Upper layer on supposed street
Data Category Information: In Situ: non in-situ; Location: external; Material: brick&mortar; Deposition: homogeneous
Discussion: External building demolition debris and collapse, dates to the Neolithic and probably used as an external activity area as two hearths (or fire spots) where ontop of this layer. The layer was above midden material in the east that was not excavated. The unit was only partially excavated since it appears to be a large homogenous build up. To the west the layer appears to be truncated by 10387 but neither context was excavated so stratigraphic relationship remains uncertain.
