Discussion: This is a fragment of a burial infill cut into two neolithic walls (units 11583 and 12229) in western section of the west extension trench.

Western part of the unit was truncated by the trench dug by Mellaart expedition in the 1960s. Upper part of the burial was destroyed during earlier excavations.

Consistency: soft/ friable 

Colour: mid brown 

Texture: silty sand 

Bedding: massive 

Inclusions: pottery, animal bones, human bones
