Discussion: This is a fr of wall made of two courses of bricks. The eastern section comprising the section of a solid N-S wall in central part of the trench was recorded as u. 17680. The space between the bricks was filled with a constructional infill (17679). The unit is indicative of episode of rebuilding the older wall. Preserved dimensions of bricks are as follows (from N to S):
Upper course:
1. 0.40 x 0.14 x 0.10
2. 0.40 x 0.12 x 0.10
3. 0.42 x 0.10 x 0.08
4. 0.60 x 0.10 x 0.07
5. 0.50 x 0.17 x 0.07
Lower course:
1. 0.75 x 0.23 x 0.10
2. 0.66 x 0.16 x 0.10
the mortar of this wall was recorded as unit 13526.
