Description: UNSTRATIFIED FINDS FROM SPOIL HEAP 

 

Discussion: This is a fragment of a wall consisting of one course of three mudbricks. It is placed perpedicurarly against the N-S wall recorded as unit 11715 and it's probably younger than the latter. The mortar underneath the recorded course of bricks was placed on a brownish clay make-up layer (unit 12281). One of the bricks, only the most eastern one was preserved intact, remaining two have only their bottom parts preserved. The bricks sizes are as follows, as seen from the east: 0.42 x0.32 x 0.08 m; 0.32 x 0.32 x 0.04 m; 0.50 x 0.29 m. Thesurface of the western brick was badly truncated and it's heights ranged from 0.04 to 0.02 m. Small fragments of plaster were recorded on the northern side of the eastern brick.
