Unit 13067

Interpretive Categories: floor,trampled area
Data Category Information: Location: building; Description: general; Material: mix (dark grey&white); Deposition: single; Basal Spit: unpainted
Discussion: This is a fragment of floor or trampled space adjacent to the W-E wall 13059. Its western part was truncated by excavations in the 1960's, southern part of the unit was marked out arbitrary by extending the wall (11764) westwards. The unit surface was distinct and sloping, from the West to the East. The trampled nature of that space was defined by its quite firm consistency and different types of materials which were deposited there. Basal boundary was easily defined by colour and consistency of the layer. Nevertheless it is not easy to prove that the space between the walls 13095 and 11764 could actually be defined as the building interior of some kind of activity area or passage between two buldings.
