Discussion: Remnent of marl plasetr floor, adjacent to earlier oven and stained heavily grey with ash.
Very badly damaged, presumably by modification and rebuild of hearth
Not clear anywhere else in structure, maybe scoured out elsewhere, perhaps during final rebuild when platform sealed all this. Original Total Deposit Volume entered as 2 altered by system check 30/08/09

Definition: made of plaster- unlike all surrounding deposits

Condition: feeling snozzy after lunch, dry, dusty, hot
Consistency: cemented/compact
Colour: pale grey brown/white
Texture: ashy marl rich silt plaster

Inclusions: mod charcoal flecks, frequent white flecks (phytoliths?), occ bone frags
Post-depositional Features: very badly truncated mostly by the rebuild of hearth
Basal Boundary: distinct-down onto ash
