Discussion: This is a layer that is recognized as a pit infill situated under layers heaped up during Melalart's excavations. The layer is dug into an infill recorded as unit 15251. Its east boundary is made of a layer 15250 which should be linked with a post-neolithic phase on human activity at this place.
