Discussion: This is middle section of make up layer of the floor 15807. It lays directly underneath on upper make up layer. It differed from the upper section of this make up layer by a lack of small pebbles. In the doorway zone ths middle make up layer had been trumped into lower make up layer. This may have been formed during end of use of the doorway. This trumped layer of make up was recorded as unit 15884. Basal boundary of u. 15879 wasn't homogenous. Boundary between this unit and lower make up layer was very sharp and prominent while boundary with the trumped one was diffuse and very joint.
