Apparently represents the lates internal surface of this oven, [f2367] 

Recognition: Compaction, colour, consistency. 

Definition: Well defined. 

Execution: Trowel. 

Condition: Getting hotter, dry. 

Consistency: Firm, cemented, compact. 

Colour: Slightly yellowish, mid grey brown. 

Texture: Slightly silty sand (slightly ashy). 

Bedding: Massive. 

Inclusions: Occa. Charcoal flecks. 

Post-depositional Features: Shows signs of scorching. 

Basal Boundary: Fairly clear.
