Discussion: There were dark brown preserved wooden bits from the coffin in the fill of the burial, they were not charcoal despite being dark in colour. There was a 40cm long preserved timber line at the southern side of the burial cut. Underneat this timber was a burnt lense of coffin timber. The archive sample was taken from this burnt layer.
