Discussion: Small elliptical cut perhaps related to founding of wall1518. filled with 1671 but as originally seen this layer appeared more extensive than it actually was and consequently the SE edge of 1672 was overdug. The W & N sides had been removed previously but the but the cut was visible in the section below the remains of 1518.
