Discussion: This unit comprises a long strip of material along the E side of b. 106 and in the SE corner. This area was dug and scraped to be able to distinguish the outlines and directions of several walls including f. 3351, f. 2427 and f. 3354. Unfortunately the large bell-shaped pit disrupts the SE corner of b. 106 quite heavily, making any observations very difficult. Also the edge between f. 2427 and another wall to the east is disturbed by many animal burrows, although the existence of both walls is apparent. The fact that this entie area was covered, reopened, and recovered several times over the past seasons and that the area was used as a pathway for wheelbarrow entry and exit have caused the soil to be extremely compact and also mixed with modern material, e.g. sandbag fibers. The quite uneven surface was flattened in order to gain an overview plan.
