Discussion: This unit represents plaster material used to plug holes in wall f. 2427. In several parts this white, very compact material was located in areas ca. 10 x 15 cm in size. Predominantly this material was also used in the corners. Possibly the materials' quality or 'stability' characteristics were used in specific areas of the wall to fix holes or as reinforcing material. It is similar to the plaster applied to the wall faces, but to be seen as a separate element of the wall due to its use, position, and concentration.
