Discussion: These are two bricks oriented W-E placed within the eastern row the bricks in the wall 17800. They were attached to the wall structure by same mortar (17801). Hence the two bricks may have been set to stabilize the wall 17800 as the structures underneath were sloping to the East. Alternatively, they may have provided a bases for the pillaster directly above (17675).
