Discussion: This unit is comprised of loose earthy material between walls F.5058 (B.106) and F.2424 (B.105). Because there is not clear gap between the walls, the material is only found in patched not over the hole face of the walls. Excavations took place from the east during the removal of wall F.5058. F.2424 was left standing. The fill revmoed and sampled seems to be natural, possibly swept into the gap by wind or rain, and most likely not filled intentionally. 

Consistency: loose, crumbly soil 

Colour: dark-brown, black, grey-brown 

Texture: sandy, clayey loose soil 

Bedding: massive 

Inclusions: charcoal, obsidian, stone 

Post-depositional Features: roots, animal burrows 

Basal Boundary: irregular
