Discussion: Clay super structure of the excavated pillar F.3424 against souttem wall. This small pillar was most likely decorative rather than structural and is situated between the souttern platform F.3411 and F.3420
* Occasional flecks of white plaster were removed with the structure representing its first pitase of plastering. 

 

Recognition: molded clay structure 

Definition: defined by delayed/ burnt post 

Execution: trowel excavated 

Condition: hot 

Consistency: firm to compact 

Colour: mid to light reddish brown 

Texture: slighty silty clay (20 / 80) 

Bedding: massive
