Unit 19175
Category: Layer dug in 2016
Area: South
Interpretive Categories: Hearth surround
Data Category Information: In Situ: in situ; Location: feature; Description: hearth; Material: pise-like; Deposition: homogeneous
Discussion: W surround of hearth 7402-narrower than E side (19174) as it has only been partly remodeled in this later phase of hearth (7402) and is built against earlier hearth surround 19191 (f.7426) as opposed to 19174 which has been completely rebuilt at this stage.
As with 19174, 19175 is constructed of quite sterile pise-like mudbrick, moulded into hearth surround & built into cut 19184, physically overlying earlier plaster hearth base 19187.
2017: new flotation sample number assigned in 2017 by bots lab in order to separate sample taken in 2016 (and floated in 2016) and this one. presumably mid x and mid y remain the same but elevation should be tracked down in either survey data or on models for B80.
