Discussion: Some of the bones were exposed in 2008, but covered by cloth and soil until this year. And earlier erosion in the area and activities connected to later, Byzantine burials nearby, have all contributed to the fragile state of the skeleton. Also an animal burrow disturbed it. Any of these things may have caused the bones to be separated, e.g. the lower legs that were found further away from the rest of the body. Also som bits and pieces were not in the rithg place, see plan 12/301. Some other parts were in situ, see photos 20120703_jpq_8791 to 8796, for some close ups on foot and toes. Also close up on ribs above the spine 20120702_jpq_xxx. (Not avaliable on server yet.)
