Dimensions: 1,58 x 0,49 x 0,10 meters 

 

Discussion: Post-neolithic, most likely Roman burial of an adult, possibly female. This individual was buried with a glass vase by its head. Please see unit sheet of fill unit 19586 for more discussion on finds. Skeleton in good condition. Buried in coffin; puddling formation around face and imprint of coffin above chest. Buried with earrings. Some textile print by the head.

8/8/2012 (SDH) - Two blue beads (a type of faience?) were found around neck but they turned to dust when the skeleton was cleaned. Another circular bead was recovered from around the neck.
