Unit 19715
Category: Layer dug in 2012
Area: South
Interpretive Categories: burial infill,pit infill
Data Category Information: Location: cut; Description: burial; Deposition: homogeneous
Dimensions: 0.94 x 0.30 x 0.05 m
Discussion: We excavated pit infill, possibly a burial although as of yet we have not found any remains. There is evidence of a compression fill - the top layer of fill was "neater" than the rest and looked like make-up. We were only able to explore about half of the fill because of the section line in our building that splits our pit (cannot excavate past/south of the section line).

Post-depositional Features:
Basal Boundary: Clear; pit may extend further but stopped approx. 8 cm in because the fill looked a bit different
