Discussion: The unit is recognizable by a very sharp surface and reddish texture. It was formed by accumulation of residual material from hearth and fire spots. The accumulation of charcoal and organic materiel is mostly in the center of the layer. The unit is more homogeneous on the east side and more composite on the west side. It is interesting to note a more consistent area filled by burned clay on the west side of the layer. It might be releted to industrial activities on the south part of the house, maybe another hearth.
