Interpretive Categories: skeleton

Data Category Information: none

Dimensions: 2,20 (E-W) x 1,00 (N-S) x 0,50 m

Discussion: This skeleton first seemed partial, in poor condition and in a distrubed state with no appearent orientation despite a clear E-W oriented cut, well defined wall structure and fill associated with the burial.
When digging deeper, after the first scattered remains of the skeleton were lifted, intact legs of the skeleton were found at a lower level in the E side of the cut, which means this was an E-W oriented burial with the head originally to the W.

X and Y of Targets: Target A - X: 962.24; Target A - Y: 970.61; Target B - X: 961.73; Target B - Y: 970.45; Target C - X: 960.88; Target C - Y: 970.53; Target D - X: 960.41; Target D - Y: 970.34

Body: badly disturbed (aside from the legs), E-W orientation

Head: only pieces were found in the middle of the cut. Head was originally to the W.

Right Arm: one lower arm bone found (radius or ulna) in random place

Left Arm:

Right Leg: extended in E side of infill

Left Leg: extended, E side

Other comments: This very partial skeleton included a piece of cranium, pelvis, ribs, arm bone, hand (or feet) bones and udentifiable bone fragments. However, when excavating deeper legs were found (femur, tibia etc.) in seemingly original position. Legs extended, feet to East.
