Unit 20176

Category: Layer    dug in 2012

Area: TPC

Interpretive Categories: Pit infill

Data Category Information: Location: cut; Description: pit; Deposition: homogeneous

Dimensions: 1,27 x 0,70 x 0,19 m

Discussion: This pit infill, coupled with the pit cut 20177, was relatively shallow and irregular in shape. Part of the fill clearly extends outside of the trench. The fill was firm in some places, but looser in others. The fill had inclusions of animal bone and relatively sizable fragments of pottery, as well as a couple of small obsidian flakes - it was only marginally artifact rich. The layer was deemed done when I got to a firmer midden-looking layer.
