Unit 20656
Category: Layer dug in 2013
Area: North
Interpretive Categories: Plaster surface and makeup
Data Category Information: In Situ: in situ; Location: feature; Description: raised area (platform); Material: plaster; Deposition: heterogeneous
Discussion: The unit is a composite/arbitrary layer of several occasions of replastering. It was recognized as something different from U. 10300 (the layer above) since it was earlier than the bench F. 2021.
The eastern part of the plaster surface, under and around the bench F. 2021 was burnt. The layer is from an earlier phase than the fire that destroyed the bench and the building, but it has still been affected by the heat from the fire.
In the SE part a fire-spot (U. 20658) was found within the unit (later than U. 20657 below it and earlier than U. 10300 above it).
