Discussion: This unit was stratigraphically free at the beginning of the 2014 season. It was recognizable as a white plaster layer on top of a makeup layer for the construction of platform f.3508. The unit capped the makeup layer into which burial f.7012 was cut. It was heavily cracked and compact, especially in the area just east of f.7012. This small region's plaster also revealed a large amount of phytoliths on its underside, not found anywhere else in the unit, representing perhaps an event (matting placed?) before this plaster (u. 20845) was laid.
Consistency: compact
Colour: white/grey
Texture: plaster-with claylike texture
Bedding: massive
Inclusions: none
Post-depositional Features: cracking, cutting by burials and post retrieval
Basal Boundary: stark transition to darker grey makeup layer
