Unit 20904
Category: Layer dug in 2013
Area: North
Interpretive Categories: Clay base,Clay fill
Data Category Information: Location: feature; Description: bin; Deposition: homogeneous
Discussion: This was the first (latest) fill in a bin-like addition to F3688 (F.7306). It was confined by plaster walls u.20905. It was homogenous brown clay, but contained some finds. In the lining between the short end of F.3688 and this clay fill I found some obsidian flakes; it gave the impression of having being dropped or fallen down accidentily. This I do not know of couse, but it is a feeling I have.
It was excavated with trowel and all sampled. It is possible that this clay was also the base of something because it was so hard packed. It started almost at the same level as u.30107 in F.7141 just opposite. Perhaps they formed something together (see feature discussion).
