Discussion: The unit was recognized by its infill. The infill differed by its constistency, firm, and its texture, compound, from the abutting infill u.21139. Unit 21139 had a layered multi coloured infill. The cut was not clear in west and its relation to the other foundation trench, cut u. 21142, was not visible due to mudbrick debris situated either in the west part of u.21167 or in the northern part of u.21142.
The cut, or pit, was made during construction of the northern wall, f. 7105.
