Data Category Information: Location: cut; Description: scoop; Deposition: homogeneous

Discussion: Determination of scoop 7589 was at first very uncertain. Indeed, infill u.21374 is not as black and ashy tha the infill from the other scoops surrounding hearth F.1482. Only its excavation provides undeniable proofs for its existance. Moreover, infill u.21374 doesn't contain bones and charcoal. 

Consistency: loose 

Colour: light brown - grey 

Texture: ashy sand 

Bedding: massive 

Inclusions: a little bit of charcoal (small, 2%) 

Post-depositional Features: - 

Basal Boundary: Sharp. Bottom of cut 21373 = infill 30539. Much stronger and compact than 21374. Contrast is also prominent in term of color (darker grey)
