Discussion: The excavation of this unit was done due to the assumption that it was the youngest part of B 52 at that point of the field work. As the excavation was carried out it became clear that the unit was older than the floor of the platform (U21379). Therefore it was stopped in an early phase.
In a continuation of the excavation the unit was intrepreted as part of a step up to the older platform in B52, F2174. It covered a fill layer made in an earlier cut (F7642). Possibly a cut was made into this fill before constructing U21388.
